Courtyards Short Term Rental (STR) Information
Bend Oregon Short Term Rental Requirements
The Courtyards Neighborhood is a Short Term Rental (STR) approved/exempted area. This means all villas may be offered as an STR and many are used as such. Each villa offering STR availably must abide by the City of Bend STR Regulations which include maintaining an active STR license, adhering to Good Neighbor Guidelines, and notifying neighbors of current 24/7 contact information for each STR property.
All guests staying at a Courtyards STR should be aware and follow the Broken Top Community rules to ensure residents and guests enjoy the peaceful Broken Top setting.

The Courtyards Neighborhood Welcome Book provides Courtyards and Broken Top Community information, such as walking path map, dog park area, emergency procedures, speed limits, etc. We hope it is welcoming for guests and helps owners share Broken Top community information. Please feel free to download and provide to guests. Send any suggested edits to the Neighborhood Representative.
The Good Neighbor Guideline flyer is included in the Welcome Book and is also provided for ease of download and printing, as needed.
The Courtyards STR 24/7 Contact List, enabling neighbors to know whom to contact if there is an issue with an STR property. Owners with an STR License need to follow City of Bend Municipal code for paper notification of neighbors (mailing or handout completed notification form to neighbors within 250 feet) for continued licensing. A copy can be emailed to the Representative to update the 24/7 Contact List.
